Jan Snead

Jan started riding at the tender age of three years. For several years, she competed with her pony in the Hunter division, winning a year end reserve champion award through the Penn Jersey Horse Show Association. Her first horse as an adult was an OTTB named Merry’s Honor. Together they were enjoying a second career in dressage. Unfortunately, she lost him to an old injury, and it became the catalyst for a new career- Equine Massage therapist and Equi-tape Practitioner. Jan realized that she could not have changed the outcome for her beloved Merry but she could have made him more comfortable.

When Jan is not massaging and taping horses you can find her with her young Hanoverian mare Elsa. Together they plan to compete in dressage and be lifelong partners.
